For the bow or rifle hunter seeking a challenging and rewarding experience, remote Wildewood on Lake Savant is one of Northwest Ontario's areas of high success. The season opens from mid September, with opening days varying slightly year to year. Lake Savant moose hunt accommodations are the same as for our fishing trips.

Easy hunting area, no guide needed. - Complimentary orientation upon request - Hunt the most remote regions of Wildlife Management Unit 16-B - Moose hunting guests are also welcome to fish and hunt geese, ducks and grouse with the proper license. (License fees are separate.) We'll go over all the details and answer any questions...we have decades of experience. Lake Savant moose hunt accommodations are at main camp.

Bringing your rifle or shotgun into Canada Effective January 1, 2001, federal firearms regulations require hunters who bring rifles or shotguns into Canada to declare their firearms at their point of entry. A fee is required to complete this procedure; this confirmed declaration is valid for up to 60 days.
