Pristine wilderness: an adventure for the entire family
Wildewood on Lake Savant is only one of two resorts on Lake Savant. The lake covers almost 90,000 acres and has over 400 miles of shoreline surrounded by a designed wilderness area. The lake is 25 miles long and has hundreds of islands. There is no public access, and there are 18 miles between you and the next resort, which is why we can best describe the area as a remote, fly-in environment. (link to Location & Travel page) You can't drive in, but you can drive to a parking area within 5 miles of the resort, and make arrangements with us for transportation into the resort in our special transport vehicles.
